Sugarbeat Eating House

We only stayed for 1 night but will go again. Plenty of parking space. Next to a busy road but you can’t hear this inside unless you open a window. The room was comfortable and clean, plenty of towels and hot water. We had one of the rooms with the extra large bed, this was very comfortable. This room had tea and coffee making facilities (decaf coffee available). Our room included a small fridge with a bottle of cold water which was much appreciated and a small container of proper milk. The room was lovely and warm as was the bathroom. Air conditioning was provided should you need it. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very good and can get busy at times. The breakfast was included in the price and was really plentiful and of a really good quality and choice. Be aware Breakfast starts at 9.00 but if you need to leave earlier I understand they may provide cereal in your room for the morning. Outside is a grassed area so if you want to sit outside to eat or drink you can. We had no regrets in staying here, would loved to have tried having an evening meal.

this place is lovely. If you're looking for a quiet weekend getaway with lovely views, great food, great service and friendly people, this is the place. It's also 36 minutes to Great Yarmouth beach. The host was super friendly and helpful when I arrived. The room I stayed in was bright and had lovely views of fields across the road. The bed was super comfy even my 7-year-old said we should stay another night. It's July and hot and there was AIRCON. Added to the enjoyment and comfort of sleep. I didn't eat from their dinner menu, but the food looked and smelled amazing which reassured me for breakfast. Breakfast did not disappoint. It came out fast and it was delectable. My daughter ordered pancakes, she couldn't finish They looked amazing and I had the veggie breakfast. The sausages were great. If I ever come back to Norwich, I know where I'm staying. I WOULD 100% RECOMMEND!

Very friendly, helpful and cheerful staff. Lovely old building with spacious, clean, comfortable and well-equipped room, including air conditioning. Excellent menu and food delicious. Only 30 minutes from Snetterton race circuit. Nothing too much trouble for the staff who even provided us with an excellent "take-away" breakfast on the day we needed to leave before breakfast was normally served. Good sized free car park. Superb service.

We liked the whole experience the staff were exceptional We had a meal on our first day the meals were tasty good variety decent size portions. The rooms were clean bright air con was a blessing loved the fridge and the fresh milk for tea and coffee also a bottle of ice cold water. We enjoyed chilling in the grounds. The breakfast was absolutely brilliant we have stayed in many places in norwich my wifecis very picky with her food but even she cleared her plate the sausage was very tasty back bacon rather than streaky always a hit the fact you get 2 drinks with breakfast is a good idea as you can have a hot and cold drink. My son had eggs bendict they were cooked to perfection the next morning he had scrambled egg he said perfect not to dry not to wet staff were exceptionally helpful very polite I will be staying here again that's a definite felt so welcome loved the named rooms

The hotel is easy to access as it is on a main road. The staff were amazing and very helpful, with Kieran being of key note. He was always there to lend a hand to my wife and I as we were travelling for the first time with our newborn; he was always willing to provide any help he could and made adjustments for my wife as she needed to leave earlier than when breakfast was to be given. The rooms are lovely and spacious with a nice open bathroom. The breakfast was also lovely with the restaurant having a massive variety of choices throughout the day. There are also bus stops directly outside the property so there is no issue with access to public transport; however I will stress that the property is on a main road, with NO pedestrian crossings near by, so crossing the road can be fairly risky.
